Principal Alex Dworzanski
I
am a proud School District of Lee County Graduate, attending Lehigh Elementary School, Lehigh Acres Middle School, and Riverdale High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tampa, a Master’s Degree from The University of South Florida, and an Educational Specialist Degree from The University of South Florida. I began my teaching career in Hillsborough County and worked as an Administrator in Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. I also worked as a Professor at the University of Tampa in the College of Education. In returning to Lee County, I was awarded the Golden Apple in 2006 and became an Assistant Principal at Lehigh Elementary. Since then I have had the pleasure of being an Assistant Principal at Challenger Middle, East Lee County High School and South Fort Myers High School.
Having over 30 years of experience in education (at Elementary, Middle, High, and Post-Secondary), I’m very excited to be able to work with your student to find academic success to prepare them for high school and beyond. I’m proud to call Harns Marsh Middle School home and very invested in ensuring that : “Every student, everyday, gains knowledge”!
Assistant Principal of Curriculum Yolaine Martin
I began teaching Special Education 13 years ago for the School District of Lee County and I just completed my first year as an assistant principal. I graduated from Miami Dade College with my Bachelor of Science in Education and received my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University. I love what I do! I love watching students learn, grow and become successful adults. I am an avid learner who truly believes on our school mission: Every student, every day, gains knowledge.
Assistant Principal of Administration Samantha Hower
I am originally from Ohio and graduated from Kent State University with an BS in Art Education. I was a Visual Arts teacher for ten years before switching to the role of Peer Collaborative Teacher. I have taught visual arts and computer science from 6-12th grade and have worked at East Lee County High, Mariner High, and Harns Marsh Middle since moving to Lee County. Creativity and exploratory learning are my passion and I appreciate my role to bring those things to both students and staff. Every student, every day truly gain knowledge and my goal is to help ensure that knowledge is something to help them reach their full potential.
